This week we finalized our study on flowers and gardening. We learned that bees are crucial for gardens because they act as natural pollinators, transferring pollen between flowers, which is essential for plant reproduction and the production of fruits, seeds, and vegetables. At art table, the children painted with Q-Tips, watercolors, and made bees out of paper plates and construction paper and played with playdough. At block center, the children used blocks to build amazing mazes and structures. At sensory, the children played with black beans, shovels, pots and plastic flowers. The children pretended to plant flowers. At manipulatives, the children counted and sorted by color or types of small insect/bugs. At science, the children played with puzzles and cycle of flowers and acorn tree. It was a busy week! We can’t believe the year is almost over.
