Transportation/ El transporte
This week was short, but it was full of fun. We continued learning about land transportation. We learned that tires have a pattern that help with traction on the road. Also, we found out tires have numbers and letters. The children went outside and explored the tires. We talked about different sizes, patterns, letters and numbers. They drew pictures of their observations. At art table, the children painted with Q- tips and volunteers help children to paint pumpkins. At blocks, we added materials to help children to create ramps. Children are creating amazing ramps. At science, the children measure pictures of cars with non-standard materials, follow patterns, count 1:1 correspondence material and played with snap blocks to make cars and rockets. We celebrated our annual thanksgiving activity. We ate a delicious snack, and the children showed their creativity by making turkeys. Thanks to all the families for participating. We hope you have a wonderful time with your family. ...
