Winter Celebrations/ Celebraciones de Invierno
This week we continued learning about winter celebration. We discuss how people decorate their house with lights and Christmas decorations. At dramatic center, the children pretended to wrap presents. At blocks the children continued adding ornaments and bows to their structures. At math centers, we used dice to count 1:1 and recognized numbers and drew lines on candy canes. At writing tables, we match letters to decorate a Christmas tree. At science the children used magnets tiles and bells. At sensory the children practiced their fine motor skills by cutting paper and ribbons. At art table, the children painted their representation of a tree using Q-tips and bows to paint. It was a fun week! We want to thank all the families for decorating a Christmas tree.
