Buildings/ Los edificios
This week, we celebrated what we learned about buildings by working on our final project. The children worked on teams to design and create their own building. The children created amazing buildings. Please take a look for their buildings, pictures and blueprints. They worked really hard. At sensory table, the children played with wet sand and mold of different buildings. The children had fun by exploring different size and pouring cups. At blocks, the children continued building and exploring different blocks and boxes. At dramatic play, the children continue building with different materials and using tools. At literacy, the children sorted letters and wrote them. At art table, the children painted with Q-Tips and created their own version of the book “Not a Box” and colored colorful socks. We had two officers that visited our school and taught us how they protected us and our community, and the children explored their cars. We finished our week by celebrating World Down Syndrome Day...
