Smart Apples

Today’s event was a success. It was great to see parents and the children playing together. The children have been working really hard. In the few weeks, they are learning our routine and we are working on strengthening their fine motor. During our events, the children had the opportunity to show their parents their favorite learning centers. It was amazing to see how they have become little leaders and how they explain to their parents the classroom rules and the different ways to use the materials. The parents had the opportunity to learn why and how important is PLAY in our day.   Thanks to the parents for taking the time to visit our classroom. El evento de hoy fue un éxito. I’m happy to introduce Ms. Rebecca! Estoy feliz en introducir Srta. Rebecca! Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca Bratsch and  I will be with the Apples on Monday and Friday. I am a sophomore at North Carolina State University studying Social Work. A few facts about myself are that I am from Asheville, North Carolina and love animals! The children are adjusting to our routine and making new friends! The children are spending time exploring the different learning centers. Ms. Krista and I, are getting to know each child likes and dislikes. We are working in establishing a school family. We want each child to feel safe and secure. I will like to thank the parents for their patience. Remember we are TEAM! Los niños se están adaptando a nuestra rutina y están haciendo nuevos amigo! Los niños están ocupando su tiempo en explorando los diferente centro de aprendizaje. Srta. Krista y yo estamos aprendiendo lo que le gusta y molesta a cada niño.
