This week we continue learning about coding and buildings. The children created a code for the mouse to get the cheese. It was fun to see the children solving problems and using math skills to create a code. At art table the children created awesome collages with paint samples and used rectangles and triangles to create representation of skyscrapers and used clay and wood sticks to create strong structures.  At sensory table, we added water and foam blocks. We encourage the children to build on top of the water. We discuss about balance and strong foundations. At dramatic play, the children keep exploring building materials and created amazing structures. At literacy center, we are practicing recognizing letters and sounds. The children are matching letters and finding the missing letters. We had wonderful volunteers that help the children to decorate delicious cookies.
