Smart Apples

This week, we continued learning about buildings. We have been reading different versions of The Three Little Pigs. We compared our two favorite versions. At sensory table we continued building on top of the water. We added some heavy blocks and the children notice that their structure sink. At art table, the children decorated a house and used watercolors to paint it and used small blocks to paint. Also, the children used markers and crayon to decorate a sock to celebrate the down syndrome day. At math table, the children used Legos to create amazing structures and played with Mental Blox that help children practice following verbal instructions, asking questions and build critical thinking skills. At blocks, the children kept creating amazing structures. At dramatic play, the children created amazing blueprints. At literacy, the children continued working on letters, sounds and CVC words.
