Apples/Manzanas
This week we continued learning about apples. We made predictions about an apple’s weight, if it sinks or floats and why apples are different colors. Also, we found out some apples are pink. At dramatic play, the children continue pretending to pick up and bake delicious apple pies. At blocks, the children built with different blocks and experimented with ramps. They find out which apples roll faster than others. It will depend on the size of the apple. At sensory table, the children used tongs to pick apples and make apple pies. At art table, the children painted with a mix of cinnamon and paint, used scissors to cut lines and used glue to put their name together and play with play dough. At writing table, the children are practicing writing their name and some words. Also, they are matching letters to make their apple alphabet tree.
