Smart Apples

This week was full of fun! We started our week by learning about the buildings around our school.  We talked about their special characteristics such as roof, windows, doors, letters or numbers, etc. At sensory table, we played with shaving cream and colored blocks. The children built amazing buildings together! At art table, the children painted with blocks, used geometric shapes to make buildings, painted with Legos and decorated their valentines’ day bags. At literacy, the children recognized alliteration and sorted letters. The children are recognizing letters, sounds and alliterations! At manipulative, the children used Legos to create buildings. They created amazing structures. Also, they used hammers to hammer the right numbers. The children recognize numbers and counting 1:1 correspondence.
