This week we started our study on exercise. We created a KW chart. The children created questions that they want to investigate. We transformed our dramatic center into a gym. The children pretended to run on a treadmill, lift weights, and practice yoga poses. In art, the children drew pictures of the body, made a spinner, and used a die to draw different lines. At the sensory table, the children practiced their fine motor skills by hammering golf tees and balancing pompoms. At the manipulative center, the children used colored blocks to make patterns and draw them, and used pattern blocks to learn about symmetry. At the literacy center, the children continued playing with letters, sounds, and spelling CVC words. In science, the children made floating pompoms to exercise their lungs and learned about finger robots. It was a busy week full of learning! Esta semana comenzamos nuestro estudio sobre el ejercicio. Creamos una tabla K-W. Los niƱos elaboraron preguntas que quieren investigar....
