September! Septiembre!
We spent the month of September learning how to get along with others in a community-oriented classroom and learning the names of our friends. We worked on building relationships with our friends and teachers. The children now feel safe and secure with us and the crying has stopped. They are beginning to understand the concept of our classroom as a community and why we must follow the rules in our classroom. We spent the month learning how to use the classroom materials and how to play and share with our new friends. The children have been working on strengthen their fine motor skills. They had use different materials to paint and they are practicing using scissors and using different writing tools. We will like to thank the parents for attending “Our Cookie & Milk” open house.
