WINTER CELEBRATION! CELEBRANDO EL INVIERNO!

This week was the first full week for this year!  We spent our week by reviewing our study in winter. The children make an igloo with packing peanuts. We had fun making ABC patterns with marshmallows. We used mittens to measure our height and we made a class book.  The children count 1:1 correspondence, identified numbers and wrote numbers.  This week the children experimented with ice, bell and magnets. It was fun! We observed how long it takes to melt ice and how the magnets stick to the bells. The children continue learning letters, numbers, shapes and improving their fine motor. It was a week full of fun!  Our class decided that our next study would be on Pets.

Esta semana fue la primera semana completa del año! Durante esta semana repasamos lo que aprendimos acerca del invierno. Los niños hicieron un iglú con manís para empaquetar . Nos divertimos hacienda patrones ABC con malvavisco. Usamos manoplas para medir nuestra altura y hicimos un libros. Los niños contaron 1:1 correspondencia, identificaron números y escribieron números. Esta semana los niños experimentaron con hielo, campanas y imanes. Fue divertido! Observamos en cuanto tiempo el hielo se derrite y como las campanas se pegan a los imanes. Los niños continúan aprendiendo las letras, números, figuras geométricas y mejorando su motricidad fina. Fue una semana llena de diversión! Los niños decidieron que nuestro próximo estudio va hacer en las mascotas.
