Our first day of school/ Nuestro primer día de clases

 

Today was our first day of school! For some children they are transitioning from another class, some of the children are adapting to new peers and new schedules and some children are new to our school family. As you know sometimes new things can be scary, and transitioning can be hard. We see a few tears, but the children enjoyed the first day of school. They explored different centers and began to make new friends. In the next 3 weeks, we are going to build our school routines and rituals that will help us to connect and build deep relationships with each child. We are excited to share this year with your child. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.  Remember we are TEAM!

 

¡Hoy fue nuestro primer día de clases! Algunos niños están haciendo la transición de otra clase, algunos se están adaptando a nuevos compañeros y horarios y algunos niños son nuevos en nuestra familia escolar. Como sabes, a veces las cosas nuevas pueden dar miedo y la transición puede ser difícil. Vimos algunas lágrimas, pero los niños disfrutaron el primer día de clases. Exploraron diferentes centros y empezaron a hacer nuevos amigos. En las próximas 3 semanas, vamos a desarrollar nuestras rutinas y rituales escolares que nos ayudarán a conectarnos y construir relaciones profundas con cada niño. Estamos emocionados de compartir este año con su hijo. Háganos saber si tiene alguna pregunta o inquietud. ¡Recuerda que somos EQUIPO!
